diskperf sample filter driver added by addfilter crashed Windows XP when reboot

Hi,

I build the sample filter driver “diskperf” from the Windows XP IFS kit
and added it to harddiskvolume as upperfilter using the sample code
“addfilter” from the same kit. When I reboot this Windows XP Professional
system, it crashed. diskperf.sys is in the Registry as upperfilter. Am I
missing a step ? Please help. Thanks.

Jun Fong

Did you modify the addfilter example per diskperf.htm?

You didn’t do what the docs say, so don’t bother repeating the same
question when you have no intention of following any suggestions.
