disk filter driver

I have a got a requirement to write a disk filter driver. The basic idea is to track all changes to the sectors of the disk.

Am new to this. i had some experience in writing file system filter drivers, but not the disk filter drivers. Can some one point me some good articles and insights of how to start with??

Are there any WDK samples, which i can have them for reference??

Thanks,
-Raghu.

Look at the diskperf sample under src\storage\filters in the WDK. I would
strongly consider doing this in KMDF, it is easier and the direction
Microsoft is heading in the kernel. If you want KMDF also look at the KMDF
toaster sample and its filter driver. Finally the disk driver sources are
in the WDK so you know what it is going to do which makes a good reference.

This is actually a subject for NTDEV not NTFSD since this is not a file
system question. I would request you move the discussion there.
