dhcp release & renew from ndis im driver

Hi ,
Can we do Dhcp release & renew (ip release and renew) from Ndis IM drivers.
(Are there any functions which drivers can call).

We’ve looked into this and been forced to call up to ring3 to do this.

If you hear different, I’d appreciate learning about it.
