DFS question

Can anyone shed any light on devices of type FILE_DEVICE_DFS? Hooking such
a device (usually named something like \Device\WinDfs\x), seems to catch
some network drives that LanmanRedirector does not.

Can anyone enlighten me on the subject? There seems to be almost nothing in
the NTFSD archives about them.

Thanks.

Neil

Neil,

This is the control device object for the DFS driver. It handles
internal commands for translating DFS share names to their actual
locations.
