To execute the DevPathExer local on a client without using the DTM Studio I start it herewith:
DevPathExer /lwa /HTC /dr mydriverservicename
HTC is clear it means the same options as DTM Studio uses.
But I don know what the option /lwa means. Here are the DevPathExer commands/ options:

-- Sorry -- the text above isn't complete - since I pressed accidentaly the "submit new thread" button.
Here I will continue my question from above:
But the /lwa option / command is not described here:
I also tried with google... to figure out the meaning of the option /lwa. But I did not saw any good description of the /lwa option.
==> can somebody please tell me what /lwa does.
Thanks in advance for a good answer.
Hi,
/lwa is use for enabling WTT logging, /lwn disables the logging.
Thanks,
Niraj
Is /lwa somewhere described ? Can you tell me a link to the place where /lwa is described?
In the directory where I execute DevPathExer there are the two files:
o DevPathExer.xml
o DevPathExer.xml.trace
Are this files the WTT logging? Or where else is the WTT logging stored?
/lwa is mainly used with DTM studio and since you’re not using DTM, you don’t have to pass /lwa parameter. AFAIK, this isn’t documented anywhere maybe b/c this is mainly used for logo purposes. You should consider using other logging options listed on http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ff544853(v=VS.85).aspx
I’m not sure what those two other xml files are for, it could be some other logging.
Thanks,
Niraj
