DeviceTree related question

Why are some PDO names in DeviceTree shown in violet (purple?) color?

thx

From the associated help file:
"One detail to note, if a PDO is present in multiple places in the PnP view,
it will be displayed in whatever color you have assigned for visited links
in Internet Explorer. "

(I actually had to look this up myself… I didn’t dare ask Mark

Good question…

We build the PnP list view from the relations reported by the FDOs. Filter
drivers, for example, often report the PDOs of the underlying device – as
well as PDOs that they may own.

We highlight these entries is to call attention to the fact that they may
not “really be there”,

I believe it’s a good idea to put it to the associated help file
