Hi All,
Can we give IOCTL interface in NDIS 6.0 for vista like we used to do in NDIS 5.1 by by using
NdisMRegisterDevice API where we create the IOCTL interface as well as creating the symbolic link also.

Yes you can. The NDIS 6 version of this function is NdisRegisterDeviceEx.

i tried to find it but could not get sucess or if there is any other sample available somewhere on any blog or tutorial please give it if you can.

Then, maybe pcausa.com has such sample?
AFAIK, ioctl interface in NDIS6 is not very much recommended; we’re
supposed to use WMI instead.

Actually i was trying to write kmdf virtual miniport driver and in that i had to give the interface of IOCTL so that application can open the handle and talk to the driver.
Anyway i will take a look of your suggested sample.
