Quick question: is it possible to have both the DDKs (DDK and WDK) on the
same OS installation?
That would ease things while migrating to the new build environment…

Yes, I have both of them (plus some older DDK’s).

Yes. You will have
\WinDDK
\3790.1830
\6000
You will have separate build environment setups that work as expected.
During Vista Beta I kept even a few more interim WDKs around and never had
any problem.
I am using WDK more and more, but still use 3790.1830 for some work.
Good luck,
Thomas F. Divine

Dunno on WDK (never tried it yet), but all pre-WDK DDKs can coexist being
installed to different directories.
