DbgView under server 2008

Hello,

I want to use DbgView under Windows Server 2008 in order to see messages from my device driver (for PCI card)

But when I tried to check “Capture Kernel” I got an error.

Of course I logged in as administrator.

Can you help ?

Is there an alternative for DbgView under server 2008 ?

Thanks.

What was that error message? Was it indicating some missing DLL?

When you logged in as Administrator, did you also right click on DbgView
and select ‘Run As Administrator’? Depending on your settings this may
matter. I can’t remember if DbgView automatically prompts for admin
privileges…

If you are using this to debug your driver, you might want to run it
remotely from another machine.

An alternative would be windbg/kd.

Good luck,

mm
