How does one create and format a partition on a blank HDD
programmatically (preferably from a ring3 app)?
There are various IOCTLs such as IOCTL_DISK_SET_PARTITION_INFO, but I’m
not sure how one formats a disk. Also, we have looked at scripting
format.com and DiskPart.exe but these are un-ideal solutions.
Thanks much,
