Hi All,
I have a SCSI miniport driver under windows 2000 AS. I am running
into the problem described by the following KB article.
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=268378
In Short:
When I do a crash dump using NMI the dump file created is not valid and the
dump counter is not displayed at all. This is a problem described in above
KB article. But I am seeing that when I do the same on Standard IDE and use
default driver that comes with Win2k I see that a proper crash dump is
create and I see that the dump counter is displayed properly.
Also just for clarification my driver does the crash dump properly if NMI is
not used to crash the system.
Has someone here faced the same scenario?? I would really appreciate if
someone can explain me this difference of behavior??
Any help is highly appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Ajitabh
