changing IP address via WMI

Hi LEGAL,

Just Install a service from the Admini account and expouse the event or some interface by which you can ask the service to do that on behalf of u.

Good Luck,

I’am trying to change the IP address of one NIC using the WMI Win32_NetworkAdapterConfiguration class.

When running as a user member of Administrators group, it works perfectly, but when running as normal user, I get Access Denied

On the call to IWbemServices::ExecMethod, even if this user has all rights granted on root\CIMV2 branch of WMI.

Is there any way (when calling CoInitializeSecurity or CoSetProxyBlanket or by some other way) to make it work ?
