Build Dependency Bug

A year ago, several of us reported a rather serious bug in the WDK
“build” tool that causes it to stop its include file dependency scan as
soon as it encounters an include file in the INCLUDES path. Do we know
whether this is fixed in WDK 6001?

I was wondering this myself recently, and looked around, but couldn’t
find an answer in the obvious places, at least. Did it ever even make
it the status of an official bug? The only thing I really came across
was a post somewhere else by an ntdev member I recognized saying
something to the effect that he had reported the issue to Microsoft
(NDIS, if I recall correctly), and they were able to reproduce it and
were looking in to it. This occurred sometime in neighborhood of
March/April.

I really hope that it has been addressed, because it presents a big
problem with an effectively required tool that doesn’t have the best
reputation in the first place, but I kind of doubt it, or at least no
one is advertising it.
