Hello all,
Can someone suggest me some good books on
Driver development, with more focus on Wireless NDIS development?
Thanks,
Avinash

Someone correct me if I am wrong, but I read an earlier message that there
are no NDIS books. Wireless is yet another challenge. However, I
wouldn’t be surprised at all if there was something in the works
considering the wide use of 802.11b etc… Let me know what you
find. Maybe W. Oney has a chapter in his new book? I think there are
NDIS samples in the DDK though.

I’m not aware of any book on NDIS drivers, and wireless NDIS would be
even more specialized. The DDK is about the only source of information.
Despite the number of newsgroup questions about NDIS programming, the
field is too small to interest most publishers. (Just so you’ll
understand, it usually takes 9 months of full-time work to author a
high-quality technical book, and someone has to pay for the author and
his/her family to eat during that period. Several of us with relevant
bits of knowledge have talked in the past about collaborating on an NDIS
book, but we can’t get the numbers to add up.)

Yeah there are some samples on NDIS in the DDK.
But I think a theoretical knowledge would help at the same time
Thanks for the input
