Away messages

Is there a way to not get notified when everyone on this list takes a
vacation? Each time I post something, I get a hand-full of messages
letting me know who is on vacation or away from the office. This is very
annoying.

Agreed. I would post more often.

Yeah … I think I’d rather have HTML than have to put up with being told
that Robert Fernando is out of his stinking office. :frowning:

Yes, indeed.

I know some lists periodically sent test messages and simply remove people
with those infernal idiotic office autoaway messages. I think it’s a good
policy.

logic kicks ass:
(1) Horses have an even number of legs.
(2) They have two legs in back and fore legs in front.
(3) This makes a total of six legs, which certainly is an odd number of
legs for a horse.
(4) But the only number that is both odd and even is infinity.
(5) Therefore, horses must have an infinite number of legs.

Also is there ANY way to deal with Base64 messages? This is from the web
interface, but also shows up in the digest:

I fail to see how this sort of message is useful to anyone.

Yes, use non-existent address like me

Or better, create a filtering rule which would detect such a message and
automatically send a reply to ooffender explaining his stupidity and finally
delete message. In the reply maybe subject should be changed to avoid
detecting and ignoring on the other side (I believe some mailers are able to
detect replies to automatic messages and ignore them to avoid loops).
