When I open a powerpoint file with my filter driver on, the application
halt. Simply text file can be opened without any problem.
In Softice, I always saw the following when the application halt.
HAL!HalProcessorIdle
ntoskrl!ExReleaseResourceForThread
What is the possible cause for the halt?
