Any WDK team members around? Registry info ...

Hi,

what’s the best method to detect the installed WDKs? I noticed that the new version 6001.18002 stores some information in
<hkey_local_machine>
while older WDKs and DDKs stored it in
<hkey_local_machine>
or, of course the respective Wow6432Node key.

Especially, I am interested in whether it is safe to use the values kit-version-(build|build-date|build-time|major|minor|qfe) to determine the newest of a number of installed WDKs?

On which values can I rely? Which have what meaning?
