I, as an AVStream transform filter, need to send a KS property request
to the driver that is upstream of me. Will
KsPinGetConnectedPinDeviceObject find that for me? The documentation
says that it returns the sink pin corresponding to the source pin it is
given. I have the opposite situation – I own a sink pin, and I need to
find its source. I “assume” that it will work in the other direction as
well, but perhaps I am being optimistic.
Ordinarily, I’d just try it, but I won’t be in a situation to test this
until I’ve invested more effort in this solution.
