Hi, everybody.

I have a question about C-Dilla software protection system.

because of C-Dilla system, my filter driver dosen’t works with
3DStudioMAX (this application uses C-Dilla).

I think C-Dilla system dosen’t passthru IRPs to any other filter driver and
calls FSD directly.

filter driver and C-Dilla system is exclusive? and is it possible?

anyone who knows about this, reply please.

Hi, Andy.

first, sorry for impolite question. please forgive me.

I’m just curious to know your protection system. and problem is following.

my filter driver is ASP engine.(a kind of remote file system)

it shows as 3DSMax on local folder, but actually folder is empty.

when a READ request comes, my filter requests appropriate file block from
remote server.(local files is not exist.)

most application runs OK, but some application dosen’t work.

I think 3DSMax’s IRPs are not pass through my filter. so 3DSMax fails.

when 3DSMax runs, other filter driver dosen’t work?

how C-Dilla can call FSD directly? (it’s my guess)
