Hi there ,
I used to load a driver (pseudo disk driver . Type 1) for a long while
under NT SP4 . It was also compiled
under NT SP4 DDK . now that I try to start it (manually as usual) from
Control Panel/Devices at an IBM
laptop having NT SP5 it won’t even call my DriverEntry and issues a message
: "error 1058: The specified service
is disabled and cannot be started " . Registry entry of the driver is the
same as before .
Is there any need to recompile the driver under SP5 . Is there an SP5 DDK
different than SP4’s?
FastFat has same registry under SP5 but was recompiled .
Any quick help is welcome !
thanks,
Zvi
