802.11 - NDIS 5.1

Hi All,

I want to know whether … NDIS 5.1 Miniport driver for 802.11 (wireless) adapter needs to do MAC address mapping to and from 802.3 to 802.11. OR does NDIS take the care.

Thanks in advance.

From what I know, you “register” yourself as an 802_3 adapter and get
Ethernet II or 802.3 packets from NDIS above your miniport.
