Device problem related to Windows 95.

Hello all,

This is related to device problem on my windows 95
machine.

my comp is having following problems under 95.
tell me whats wrong & what is the solution to it.

if i go to system properties-device manager i see
a yellow exclamation mark next to the following
devices

(under hard disk controller)

1.{!} primary ide controller (single fifo)
2.{!} single ide/esdi hard disk controller
(standard dual pci ide controller)–o.k.

(under mouse)
1.{!} logitech serial mouse
(ps/2 compatible mouse port)–o.k.

(under other devices )

  1. {!} opl3-sax sound board
    (but under sound video and game controllers -yamaha
    opl3-sax sound
    system
    is o.k.)
  2. {!} pci bridge
  3. {!} pci universal serial bus

my system had 98 & nt workstation .it crashed.
so i loaded 98 but was not compatible with oracle 7
so i installed 95.

after with this problem was sighted.

Though the topic is bit out of context …
Any comments will be of helpfull.

This is a motherboard-specific problem (namely the problem of the IDE
controller embedded on mobo). There are lots of “compatibility mode FAQs”

on the web.
