Windows Virtual Hardware Lab Kit (VHLK)

Hi Community,

I am considering to use VHLK, but the signed driver has to run on Windows 10 1607 (IOT edition).

I looked at the list at https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/test/hlk/windows-hardware-lab-kit

So there are different versions of the HLK Studio for different Windows 10 Versions?
And VHLK is only useable for the latest one?

To certify… Download…

Windows 10, version 1809 or Windows Server 2019
    Windows HLK, version 1809 or
Windows Virtual HLK (VHLK), version 1809 - NEW!

Windows 10, version 1803
    Windows HLK, version 1803

Windows 10, version 1709
    Windows HLK, version 1709

Windows 10, version 1703

Windows 10, version 1607
    Windows HLK, version 1703

Windows Server 2016
    Windows HLK, version 1607

I do not know what tu use to get a driver running on every Windows 10 edition…

Can anyone help me with this question?

Hope to get an answer soon :).

Gunther

Depending on the end goal for the driver, there are a couple of different options for signing your driver to run on every Windows 10 edition. If looking to have the driver shipped with an OEM system then then start with the first article below. If looking to just load and recognized by Windows try the second article below.
