Annoying Test

(empty message) – (empty because the message was digitally signed)

Although email submission does work, the presence of a digital signature does cause the message to appear empty. Now I just need to delete this thread.

Although email submission does work

Sooooo… ONE of these showed up in NTDEV, and another showed up in the “admin only” section, because it was sent to an address that’s not specific to any mailing list (like osr@vanillacommunity.email or something).

Thanks for this. I will report this to the powers that be.

Can you tell us (here or send to me via email) any additional details about HOW you’re signing this email? Is it via Outlook, specifically? Or… some other way?

I’m using Thunderbird, but it’s the same mechanism used by Outlook –
S/MIME.  It’s a multipart/signed message with a certificate attached:

    multipart/signed
        multipart/alternative
            text/plain
            text/html
        application/pkcs7-signature

Lyris used to reject them outright, which was a good reminder.  What I
need is for Thunderbird to have the ability to select digital signing
per recipient in the Address Book.

Thanks. Bug report sent. I’ll follow-up here when I hear something back.
