Well, relativity doesn’t stop working just because there may be a
quantum relativity theory one day. The proposal of using entanglement to
send a message faster than light means it will travel backwards in time
to some observers. That may be possible, but let me now when there is a
confirmed observation. - Mike

Sure you read it correctly this second time?
Why do you mention “Reference Frames” when talking about Quantum Physics?
They only apply to Relativity…

That article is rather silent on the speed of transfer, though had they
measured FTL transmission it might have got a mention. The question in
my mind is: Does there exist an Einsteinian frame of reference in which
it is possible to inspect the quantum state at one end of an entangled
system to determine the state of the other end in advance of information
being imparted at the other end. If the answer is no, then neither is
there a frame in which FTL transmission occurs. “It may be possible” is
rather akin to me keeping my mind open to the possibility of a cow
jumping over the moon.

Just for the fun (it doesn’t change any facts), you might also ask him if this counts as evidence to him: https://www.newscientist.com/article/2134843-chinese-satellite-beats-distance-record-for-quantum-entanglement/
Definitely transferring information by quantum entanglement…

PS: I thought that information transfer by quantum entanglement is already common knowledge. At least Mark seemed to know it already. Otherwise he would have probably not mentioned it…
