Hi everyone!

Check out new WinDbg

Something very twisted about seeing WinDbg in an app store…

Unfortunately all I’ve gotten today is “WinDbg Preview is currently not
available” #hehateme

Yeah and WinDbgX.exe :). Good thing it will only be in store for Preview
version.
Hope the old one will be replaced with the same name WinDbg.exe

It takes around 24 hours for the publishing to finalize. If people still see it missing tomorrow, I’ll follow-up.

Hello,

What is meant by “WINDBG is sponsored by OSR” ?
WINDbg is developed by Microsoft , right?

Thanks,
Shaarang

Subject: RE:[windbg] New WinDbg

It takes around 24 hours for the publishing to finalize. If people still
see it missing tomorrow, I’ll follow-up.

It shows up in the Store, but not available to install, on two instances of the current (16251) Slow Ring Insider Preview. Don’t have another build readily available at the moment to test if it’s version dependent.

It finally showed up for me also. However, clicking the button caused the Store app to unceremoniously exit. After retrying a few times I got an error dialog instead (something about a package not being available).

I would have given up but then I had to debug a kernel panic on Linux, which immediately made me want to be doing anything else, so I tried again and it installed.
