Problem with build

OSR_Community_UserOSR_Community_User Member Posts: 110,217
Hi all,
I am building a filter driver using the command line below :
build -cZe

and I am getting following output

BUILD: Compile and Link for i386
BUILD: Compiling c:\filter directory
Compiling - filter.c for i386
BUILD: Linking c:\filter directory
Compiling - filter.c for i386
Linking Executable - i386\checked\filter.sys for i386
BUILD: Done

1 files compiled
1 executables built

This output shows that build was successful but I could not find filter.sys
file on my harddisk.

Can anybody suggest the problem.

makefile is standard makefile.def supplied with DDK and source file is as:
TARGETNAME=filter
TARGETPATH=.
TARGETTYPE=DRIVER
INCLUDES=.

SOURCES=pdefilter.c

Thanks
Ashish

    Problem with buildAshish,

    It should be in your DDK directory. Is your DDK on the disk you are
    searching? Check ddk/lib/i386/checked for NT4. The directory structure is
    a little different for Win2000.

    Problem with buildFor W2K: TARGETPATH=obj

    For NT4 try taking a look at any of the sources files supplied with the ddk
    sample drivers.
