Filter drivers and Sis.sys

OSR_Community_UserOSR_Community_User Member Posts: 110,217
Has anyone encountered a BSOD (KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED) when layering a
filter driver along with the SIS (Single Instance Storage) filter in Win2K?
I found out that this was due to my filter filtering the the Device\RawDisk
device (which is to filter direct drive object requests), which, for some
reason, sis.sys doesn't like. I suspect that it too is filtering this object
and some sort of clash has occurred. But I can't be sure.

Can anyone shed some light on this?
