Do you mean your driver is the target file system driver ?
If so, actually are you who intialize the cache and read-ahead parameters.

Sorry but I think I don’t uderstand the problem …:-(.

I can’t! When the thread enters my driver -> it has already been directed
to
MY file system driver.
Meaning, the device driver that I wrote gets requests directed to it only.
What other options do I have?

Add flag IRP_NOCACHE to Irp->Flags before passing it to target file system
driver.
This will disable cache and read-ahead.
