Hi,
I have an old-ish driver that I am updating. Previously, we used KMDF 1.11, including wdfcoinstaller01011.dll in the .inf file. We were targeting Win7 and above.
As part of the update, we are using KMDF 1.15, and only targeting Win10 and above. Works great on Win11. On Win10 I can't get it to load unless I use an old .inf with the coinstaller. I get {Driver Entry Point Not Found} otherwise. I thought maybe it was the weirdness of how the .inf generator generating empty lines instead of the coinstaller info. I have verified that the .inf says KMDF 1.15.
Is there something basic I am missing? I should just get rid of references to the coinstaller, and it should run on Win10 and above right?
Thanks,
Diane

Hmmm… yup. Win10 shipped with KMDF 1.15, so if that’s what you’re targeting that (or a newer version of KMDF) should already be on the machine. No co-installer required.
