If I go back in history, I see this tool in the Windows 8 (9200) and Windows 8.1 (9600) WDKs, but not Windows 10.

So can we install 8.1 WDK and use in windows 10 PC?
Of course you can. Heck, the Windows XP DDK still works perfectly well on Win 10, and can be used to build Win 10 drivers.

Thank you...got this tool after installing wdk 8.0
... but you should still compile using the Win10 SDK/ DDK to make sure you get the latest and greatest ... just copy over the WDF tool from the 8.0 WDK, then install the latest WDK/ SDK and you're good ...
