Am trying to use wdftester on my driver to test. I had installed wdk on test PC and checked, but I don’t see wdftester tool kit at all. Do I need to install any other tools to get this..?

If I go back in history, I see this tool in the Windows 8 (9200) and Windows 8.1 (9600) WDKs, but not Windows 10.

So can we install 8.1 WDK and use in windows 10 PC?

Of course you can. Heck, the Windows XP DDK still works perfectly well on Win 10, and can be used to build Win 10 drivers.

... but you should still compile using the Win10 SDK/ DDK to make sure you get the latest and greatest ... just copy over the WDF tool from the 8.0 WDK, then install the latest WDK/ SDK and you're good ...
