I know we can upgrade the oplock type on a given file using Windows 7 oplocks.
Suppose I have a Read-Write oplock on a file that was broken when another handle (oplock key) was opened for it, forcing me to get a Read oplock. Now I want to know when I can regain exclusive access to the file, so that I can upgrade the oplock to Read-Write again.
Is there any way I can be notified about this other handle being closed? I mean, not polling the file.
Thanks in advance,
Fernando Roberto da Silva
