Windows 10 checked build?

I hate to ask but I’ve been off down every rabbit hole I can find with no luck.

Where the heck is the checked build? Everything online seems to say it’s part of the WDK but I’ve not found it in any of the versions I’ve installed. The MSDN downloads seem to only have full builds for Windows 7.

cheers,

Chris

The last Windows 10 checked build on MSDN is “Windows 10 (Multiple
Editions) Debug/Checked, Version 1511”. It is there, just have to search.

Ah, I see. So I don’t have the option of installing a partial checked build I guess. Can’t just grab the kernel and hal if I’m using a newer version for which there is no checked build.

Thanks.

Hi guys,
I had the same problem last week (Tried to download a Checked/Debug version of Windows 10 (VIA my MSDN Dev Essentials account), but Unsuccessfully).
I just solved the issue by buying a (Visual studio Professional Subscription), which unlocked many new downloads and features i didn’t have in my previous account, one of which the Windows 10 Checked/Debug Version.
I hope that helps…

Thanks.
