surprise: Globalsign only issues EV certificates if you are incorporated

Globalsign's stated they only issue EV certificates to businesses that are incorporated and rejected my order on this basis. This is a surprising because this policy excludes most businesses. I have a sole proprietorship. Is it possible to get an EV certificate? If so, where?

It is possible, according to the EV guidelines I've read. The early draft of these guidelines didn't require incorporation, but did require a dedicated business address.

Lack of incorporation isn't a bar to getting an EV Cert, but each CA can have their own requirements. You just need to shop around.

Post back what you find here... I'm sure other folks will be interested in what you discover.
