Driver signing with SHA1/SHA2 - changes Jan 1

I must have been asleep at the wheel but I’ve just been reading about the S=
HA1 and SHA2 changes in Windows coming Jan 1.

Apparently Vista and Windows 2008 have to use drivers signed with SHA1, but= newer Windows won’t allow SHA1 unless signed before Jan 1, 2016 (i.e. for =
8 more days).

So basically signing with SHA2 is required for 2008 R2 and Windows 7 and ne= wer. And signing with SHA1 is required for Vista, 2008, XP/2003, etc.

Do I have that right?

Is it possible to double-sign a driver like you can apparently do with an E= XE and DLL?
