Emulated ATM Miniport Driver over Serial port ??

OSR_Community_UserOSR_Community_User Member Posts: 110,217
Hi,

I am planning to write an Emulated ATM Miniport driver on Windows 2000
platform using serial port as an interface. Will the win 2000 OS load
my emulated atm driver and register properly ??. And also will the OS
load all the ATM stack related components (viz. LANE, IP/ATM, Call
Manager etc.)

While reading the DDK document I came across something like Plug and
Play will detect the ATM adapter and then load the relevant ATM stack
component. Is this true ?? Will the above sort of emulation work
properly. Please throw some light on this ...

Regards

Sridhar
