I have a virtual bus driver (aka toaster) that creates storage-virtual-miniports one per each nic port.
The virtual-bus and storage-virtual-miniport each have their inf and sys etc.
But all the storage-virtual-miniports created have the same description string in device manager making it cumbersome to find to which base nic port they belong.
Is there any way I can add an insatnce id (#1, #2 etc or soem runtiem/unique id/string) like it happens to ndis miniports under network controllers in Device manager.
