Verifier: XP vs 2008 R2

I’m sure that most people here do know this, but probably this information will still be useful.

On XP 32bit, if you use lookaside lists, then Verifier does not use Special Pool for them and so these allocations are not checked by Verifier.

On 2008 R2, this is fixed and the lookaside allocations do go to Special Pool.

Actually, that is news to me. Thanks, Max!

Using the latest Windows version for Verifier tests is always a good idea.
