Re: [ntdev][basic] Question on synchronization objects available in kernel space.

I agree with semaphore but not mutex because it’s the most basic of all
synchronization primitives. If you have never used it, it’s because of your
particular situation deep down in the stack. It’s ok to look up the exact
interface of the functions involved but it’s not enough to be able to look
up how it works because if you don’t know how it works it means you also
don’t know when to look up to find out if you might need it or that would
imply the contrary. At least you would need to know enough about it and the
basic workings of the operating system to be able to decide to look up
whether you might need it or not.
