We have released a new version of windbg on
http://www.microsoft.com/ddk/debugging
We encourage everyone to upgrade to this release.
Some of the key changes are:
Greatly improved bugcheck analysis (!analyze command)
Significant performance improvements when debugging minidump files
WinDbg: Many new context menus and UI options
WinDbg: Ability to save and load workspaces for files
Support for multi-machine (client server) debugging
C++ expression evaluator (still under development)
New 1394 debugging protocol (to work with Windows .NET server)
Improved documentation
And lots of bug fixes!
We greatly appreciate any feedback - be it bug reports, feature requests,
or even documentation issues.
